Brace yourself

I missed this one! Back in January, my handmade "terra oro" cuffs and bracelets ended up in an article for Love Wins California (Wedding section) entitled "Hers & Hers: Stylish Sundries". Glad to be part of this elegant selection of wedding gifts.

Puffy clouds at the horizon

Puffy and white clouds (translated in Italian: "nuvole soffuse") inspired the design of this new collection of lightweight, stackable and elegant bangles handmade in silver plated copper, Japanese organic silk & cotton, with a touch of sterling silver and plated gold. Where can you find them? Check the textile limited edition collection here.

I ended up in... China

Somehow, I ended up in Q Daily, the online Chinese magazine focusing on emerging technology and new design trends.
If you are wondering what the text says at the beginning... it's something like:

"As the chairman of the Los Angeles nonprofit Ocean Conservation Society, Dr. Maddalena Bearzi, an Italian marine biologist, often travels to see her animal friends. Using marine ecology as a source of inspiration, she began to recover metal, old jewelry and stone to create unique marine pieces. If you are interested in wearing the underwater world, you can view her work here."

If you rather read it in Chinese, here is the article!

Freshly Pressed

Onde, maree and balene are now... Freshly Pressed! A new article about my new handmade, one of a kind and ocean-inspired jewelry pieces in the magazine Style & Trashion. Take a look at these pieces for the upcoming Fall season. All of them are available in the Maddalena Bearzi one of a kind organic jewelry online shop here.

Wearing... earthworms!

Andrea wears the handmade "Anellide sorridente" necklace. Anellids are earthworms, and these segmented, little animals influenced the design of a series of distinctive, organic looking textile jewelry pieces. This "anellide" is finished with a silk cocoon. Anellide sorridente is part of the textile limited edition available here.
