3 tips for your new jewelry business

In a recent interview for Thrive Insider, I was asked “what are 3 tips you can share with our readers as it relates to your industry?” Here was my response:

1. Don’t try to be trendy and choose quality versus quantity. Trends pass but great pieces are timeless.

2. Be different from others.

3. Be environmentally friendly: sustainable products are here to stay.

A lizard for Mother's Day

My lucertola necklace/bracelet was featured in the Lifestyle section of the Home Business Magazine this month (read: Dazzle the Mompreneur in Your Life this Mother’s Day with These Must-Have Jewelry Gift Picks). Inspired by reptiles, this sustainable piece becomes a bracelet once it loses its “tail”, just like lizards release their tail when escaping a predator.
